Three months in preventive detention against a man who sexually abused the son of his employer in La Zurza


Santo Domingo.- The judge of the Permanent Attention Office of the National District, José Alejandro Vargas, issued three months of preventive detention against a man accused of sexually assaulting the son of who at the time of the events was his employer.

The accused, whose name is omitted to protect the identity of the minor, must comply with the measure at the La Victoria National Penitentiary.

The instance narrates that in 2013, when the infant was around 8 or 9 years old, the aggressor on several occasions forced him to perform oral sex and he also did the same to the child, events that occurred in the sector La Zurza, where the minor lived with his family and they had an internet center.

"The aggressor took advantage of the fact that he was a trusted employee both in the home and in the business of the victim's father, and when he was left alone with the child, he threatened to kill his parents if he did not agree to their requests," said the investigating prosecutor Miladys De Jesús.

She revealed in the hearing that currently the accused no longer works for the victim's family and does not have access to it, however he tries to contact him through social networks, a situation that has emotionally affected the minor, who is now 13 years old. age. The infant's father gave the Public Ministry several screenshots that evidence these events.

The Prosecutor's Office granted the present case the legal classification of sexual assault, psychological and sexual abuse of a minor, crimes foreseen and sanctioned in articles 333 of the Dominican Penal Code and 396 literals B and C of Law 136-03.
